Questions

Where we workCharlotte, Matthews, Mint Hill, Pineville, Huntersville, Cornelius, Davidson, Concord, Indian Trail, Waxhaw and Gastonia.
Is the estimate free?

Yes. Text photos for a price range the same day, then we measure on site for free and give you a fixed price.

Why does a crawl space need a vapor barrier?

Bare soil keeps releasing moisture into the crawl space. A plastic ground cover stops most of it before it reaches the floor framing, insulation and ductwork. Inspectors flag it when the plastic is torn, bunched up or leaves soil exposed.

How long does the job take?

Most crawl spaces up to about 1,500 sq ft are done in one day. Larger or very low crawl spaces can take two.

What thickness of plastic do you use?

6, 12 or 20 mil depending on the package. 6 mil is the common minimum; we recommend 12-mil reinforced because it holds up to foot traffic from future inspections and repairs.

What if you find water or mold?

We photograph it and tell you before we start. We do not spray chemicals; we will refer you to a licensed specialist for mold or pest treatment.

How do I pay?

50% deposit to schedule, the rest when the work is done. Card, Zelle or check.

Is the work guaranteed?

Yes. Seams and attachment carry a 1-year workmanship guarantee. If something comes loose, we come back and fix it.
